A massive beach fill project in Stone Harbor resumes this week. Mayor Suzanne Walters announced that the beach fill project will begin again Monday or Tuesday and work around the clock until it’s completed. Stone Harbor is getting more than 700,000 cubic yards of new sand along its entire beachfront, completely financed by the federal government. All beaches remain open, except those in the immediate construction area. The project paused for a few weeks so a beach fill project in North Wildwood could be completed by the same contractor.
