STATE MISSES OUT IN $14 MILLION FOR CHARTER SCHOOLS

A report came out on Monday that the state’s application for the funds was denied. It was he second mistake the state made in education funding, including the failed “race to the top” application. The money for charter schools was available through a competitive process. Republicans and Democrats both blame each other for the failed application.
