REPORT: ATTORNEY SAYS STONE HARBOR HAS SAY IN SCHOOL DISPUTE

A local attorney says yes, Stone Harbor does and should have a say in how a new school administrator is picked to serve that community, and Avalon. The Press of Atlantic City reports today that local attorney Jane Hoy told the Stone Harbor Board of education that an interlocal services agreement between both communities does give Stone Harbor a say on who the next school administrator will be. Last week, Stone Harbor officials discovered that they had no say regarding a successor to Administrator Dave Rauenzahn, who retires later this year.
