POWER STILL OUT FOR THOUSANDS LOCALLY

It’s a long, tough week for electric companies in New Jersey.  Hurricane Irene knocked out power to nearly a million customers over the weekend.  About half of those customers have been restored, but utility companies across the state say the job is far from over.  It could take until the weekend to bring most of the customers back on the power grid.  Atlantic City Electric is hopeful that its customers will be completely back in service just before Labor Day weekend.
