NJ DEMS WANT TO RESTORE STATE FUNDING

Democratic lawmakers in New Jersey are ready to restore millions of dollars in state aid to cities that need it the most.  The democrats have introduced a new law that would restore millions of dollars to the poorest cities.  Governor Chris Christie cut that aid about six months ago.  Christie says the state already faces a $120 million shortfall, but he’s open to discussing a proposal to give some money back to the cities.
