JUDGE RULES AGAINST LEGISLATIVE PANEL OVER SUBPOENAS

A judge ruled that two figures key in the Bridgegate investigation don’t have to turn over documents to the legislative committee investigating the scandal. Neither Bridget Anne Kelly or Bill Stepien will have to comply with the subpoenas according to the judge. Both argued their fifth amendment right protected them from incriminating themselves. Its unclear what the next step will be or if the two will end up complying with the U.S. Attorney’s review into the incident.
