CHRISTIE: TOUGHER TESTS NEEDED TO GRADUATE IN NJ

The old high school graduation exam may be replaced with tougher tests in the Garden State.  Governor Chris Christie on Monday unveiled a new plan that would take away the High School Proficiency Assessment because it’s too weak; the new tests would follow required courses on the high school level.  Christie says it’s imperative that New Jersey provide tougher tests to meet the growing demands of the 21st century.
