New Jersey has itself a new state budget, but Gov. Chris Christie took the power of a line item veto before signing the document. The veto power allowed Christie to trim $361 million of the $32 million budget before he signed it into law. Meanwhile, Christie has called a special legislative session on Monday for lawmakers to come back to Trenton and talk about a tax cut plan. Christie would address lawmakers regarding a tax cut. No official decision has been made by Democratic leadership whether they will show up or not.
