CHRISTIE CONTINUES TOUR OF STATE FOLLOWING HURRICANE IRENE

The state is continuing to work on getting completely up and running after Hurricane Irene impacted the ara over the weekend. Gov. Chris Christie has been touring the state to look at the damage and said he is hoping that President Barack Obama will sign off on a declaration to provide quicker relief to New Jersey in the wake of the storm. A number of homes have significant water damage in North Jersey as the rivers have been overflowed. Christie has also said that the Jersey Shore is open and encourages tourists to come back down.
