Less gaming money may be coming in but profits are up with the casinos in Atlantic City. The 11 casinos showed a 35 percent gross operating profit increase over last year during the second quarter. The state released its latest numbers, which shows that Borgata had the biggest profit at $42.2 million compared to $28.1 million last year. Revel performed the worst with a $24.3 million loss in the quarter. Only one of the three casinos that are set to close, Showboat, reported a profit.
