ALBANO: HUGE SUPPORT FOR MULTIPLE ARREST DRUNK DRIVER BILL

A loophole in state law regarding drunk driving arrests may soon be closed. Assemblyman Nelson Albano told Coastal Broadcasting that 30 lawmakers are ready to sign on to be a sponsor of a bill to allow a judge to place a bail amount on someone who is arrested twice in a 60 day period for drunk driving. A Vineland man had been caught a handful of times for DWI, but since he had not been convicted yet, was allowed to go free again. Albano expects a vote on that bill next week.
